I really enjoyed my visit to Coffee Angel. It is definitely on the pricier side compared to some other cafés, but the quality and atmosphere make it worth considering for a treat.
The café has a lovely, modern feel and is a great place to relax, especially if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable to sit with a coffee. It’s also spotlessly clean, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.
I ordered a matcha, and it was perfect, smooth, & creamy, and full of flavour. I also tried the yoghurt bowl. It was okay, but it was fresh and nicely presented.
The baristas were friendly and welcoming, and the customer service was excellent. I also like that Coffee Angel is a well-known Irish coffee chain. I always enjoy supporting local independent businesses, but it’s also great to see a respected national café in Monaghan Town. It adds something different to the town’s café scene and gives people another high-quality option.
Overall, although Coffee Angel is more expensive than some cafés, it’s a clean, welcoming place with friendly staff, a lovely atmosphere, and a perfect matcha. I’d happily visit again.

My first time visiting Monaghan, and I found it a perfect place to start the day. The coffee was delicious, and the almond croissant was simply amazing. There's also a variety of delicious and healthy breakfast options.

Great Cafe. I ordered an Americano along with the club sandwich and a choc chip cookie. The coffee was lovely and the food was very fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. All round a great cafe with good fresh food.
